• Rectangular Table: Around 72" (6 ft) long and 36"–40" wide allows for easy movement and seating.

As a rule of thumb, maintain about 36" of space between the table edge and surrounding walls or furniture — enough for chairs to pull out comfortably while keeping the room balanced.
