Challie Stillman
Design Director/Hand Holder
Challie is our very own Wonder Woman - dashing to clients' apartments in the nick of time to save them from the evils of puce, florescent lighting and doors that open into each other. She thinks out of the box, and keeps a stack of creative solutions in her back pocket at all times. She is our go-to girl with any questions about anything aesthetic. And she’s always right. Keep that in mind.
Lisa Blecker
Director of Marketing/Resident Mastermind
Lisa almost comes from Kentucky. In Kentuckagueese, LISA means “woman with many hands”. She’s been seen working with clients in the showroom, writing press releases, creating new and exciting advertising. As reformed Subway fan, Lisa is now an Atkins advocate (sorry Jared).
Kirk “Get ‘er Done” Schuly

No stairwell is too narrow, no custom order is too crazy for backpack-toting Kirk - whether it’s convincing the delivery guys to walk up those six flights of stairs no one mentioned or figuring out that the ceiling is 2” lower than the furniture BEFORE the order is placed, Kirk is everyone’s hero. He needs a cape.
Micaela Frantz
Production Coordinator/Mixologist
Scheduling installations, rescheduling installations when no one is home, processing orders, processing the changed orders when Kirk finds out that the ceiling is too low, buying pretzels, navigating the maze of international customs - Micaela does it all with a smile and a kind word. She’s a freak. And we love her.
Jake Verost
Sales Expert/Resident Know-It-All
Jake, in fact, does know everything. It’s irritating and invaluable at the same time, which is confusing, yet comforting. If you have a 3’ x 5’ room and need to sleep 14 people, Jake could definitely figure out how to fit in two more. Go ahead - just try to stump him.
Christine Salzer
Sales Expert/Resident Canadian
Christine makes every day a reason to come to work. Her experience, humor and insight are off the charts. If you have a 3’ x 5’ room and need to sleep 14 people, Christine would have that floorplan done, colors selected, the site measured and the order in production before you leave the showroom. And then she’d have you over for cocktails.
Mariel Maia
Marketing/Keyboard Queen
Mariel personally answers every inquiry from every person in every country every day. It’s exhausting even watching her. She knows which beds will support a 3-person pillow fight (answer: all of them, but the question was frankly way funnier than the answer) and she knows how long something will take to ship to Yugoslavia. (Answer: not as long as you would think for a country that doesn’t exist anymore). A diehard equestrian and likely dressed in black, Mariel wins for most colorful personality.
Emily Moeller
Marketing and Sales Assistant
Emily is a Southern girl without a Southern accent. She is now a New Yorker, which we are very happy about. She can make a perfect AutoCAD drawing out of 6 feet of yarn and a handful of Tic-Tacs, and will answer every single question you can think of with a smile. Even on Saturday at 5:05 pm.
Jennifer Scher
Sales Expert/Resident Smarty Pants
Winning the award for most educated, Jennifer knows what she’s talking about. In addition to her Masters in Interior Design from Pratt, she has a Masters in International Business and formerly worked on Wall Street (I know, right?). Not only is her insight adored by both us and clients alike, her funky sock collection is top notch.
JC Heese
Sales Expert/Resident Explorer
Making her way from Kansas City (the Missouri one), JC brings her design degree and Midwestern charm to Resource Furniture. She’s a NYC transplant only days before Hurricane Sandy – talk about a crash course in Manhattan living. Rarely a day goes by when we don’t get a new JC sightseeing adventure tale. Ask about her latest cookie concoction (she has a Home Ec. degree too – believe us, they’re delicious).
Maia Eliozashvili
IT Expert/Showroom Phantom
Hailing all the way from Georgia (yes, that one) Maia is an IT superhero. From slow browsers to the blue screen of death, she has unbeatable IT intuition. We used to think we had a mysterious doodler on our smartphones and whiteboards, but we have cracked the case! – it was Maia.
